Sasquatch Festival 2011

Designer of the week- bill + mar

Bill+Mar is a clothing line that’s right up my alley!  Contrasting prints and fabrics mixed with a 90s grunge flair is how I would describe this innovative collection.  I could totally see myself in their blue lycra cut up leggings and floral cropped oxford blouse or couldn’t you imagine yourself in their sexy long black tassel dress.  To die for!  To see more by this UK clothing company check them out @ http://www.senseofashion.com/billandmar.

Gwen Sparkles in Stella McCartney Jumpsuit

I'm completely in love with Gwen's ensemble from the big curly frock, to the soft pink lips, and of course this gorgeous black sequin jumpsuit by Stella McCartney.  Gwen sported this sexy suit on the red carpet at the premiere for "The Tree of Life" at the Cannes Film Festival.  Her look is ultra chic and very sexy without being trashy.

Beyonce Gets Booed

I guess fashion can be a pain in the ass!  According to reports and many twitter blasts, Beyonce and Jay-Z were booed on the red carpet at the Costume Institute's "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  The paparazzi responded with anger when the couple failed to pose long enough to take pictures.  According to reports the stars Pucci gown was too tight for her to bare and camera phone footage shows that she could barely walk up the stairs, even with her husbands assistance.  It’s a shame since the gown is hideousL   I still love you B!!!

Fashion Steal!! So good it should be illegal...

It was one of my co-workers b-days this past Friday so we went out bar hopping in downtown Los Angeles...as usual. I felt it was the perfect opportunity to sport my new shear blouse that I copped from the thrift store for guess how much?????  50 whole cents!!   I have to say I was proud and I felt very sexy:)

It's always better the 2nd time around ;)

I was super stoked to actually be off Thursday night and catch the downtown LA art walk for the 2nd consecutive month in a row...this never happens people!!! So I took full advantage of exploring as much as I could. After an eventful Metro ride we finally arrived to the jam packed streets of downtown Los Angeles. I found myself lost in people watching, gathering inspiration from trendy duds and innovative art pieces. Bands were blaring through vacant alleys and dj's were spinning from store front windows, I thought I died and went to art heaven. All that walking gets a gal thirsty so of course our last stop was The Down and Out, a super divey bar with celebrity mugshots and cheap spirits!!

COACHELLA!!!!!

It's the time we've all been waiting for....Coachella!! What place can you go where the temp is burning, the acts are just as hot, and somehow throughout the boiling weather everyone seems to maintain their fashion forwardness :) I can't wait my camera's definitely getting burned out lol!
